I’ve seen worse, to be honest. At least it’s unique.

Tow that thing to the impound lot! If you’re going to park in the crosswalk, at least do it with a non-hideous car.

I’m no expert, I know they made some ugly half classic abominations, could there have been demand for more that one back then!
Yeah maybe not Excalibur , they seem to have square rear windows.

I’m not willing to stare at it too long, for fear of retinal damage.

I think this might be a “Tiffany”, based on an 87-88 Cougar.
(I had a slight fascination for neoclassics when I was a kid - didn’t really want one, but found them interesting. OK, so I kind of liked the Series IV Excalibur).

Many more than that, at least a dozen in the 70s and 80s, with widely variable quality.

Well back then I think I just called them all Excaliburs , there was no internet. But I bet there were ads in the back of car magazines. I guess I just didn’t want to know. There weren’t many in Hawaii for me to see anyway, I can only remember a couple.

I’m thinking that there is a Fast and Loud episode wherein Charlie Pride ( country singer) brought his to them to fix some wreck damage. After some footage of looking into it, t hey turned him down cause cost to fix far outweighed value. In its day it was just gawdy, now it’s a monstrosity .

You should never shoot the horse you are riding either. A family friend told me this some years after doing it himself by mistake.

the dumbest things I ever heard at a car show was this 40yo woman looking at one and going “this is when cars were cars” it’s like that Lewis black sketch of “ if it wasn’t for my horse I’d never of gone to college.”

Oi, I like the ProMaster City, mostly because it’s just a FIAT Doblo in disguise! :)

Wait, no, the interior is actually very well done. It might claw that price back with the striking avant garde dash arangement.

This comment needs more stars. Hahaha, yeah, right, this was from when cars were crude gaudy interpretations of older cars. Too bad we can’t have that anymore.
